Guided walking Tour of Athens

The tour begins in front of the Parliament in Syntagma Square where you will see the Monument of the Unknown Soldier and the change of the Evzones famous Guards.
A pleasant walk will follow through the National Garden and on to the Zappeion Hall, the Temple of Olympian Zeus,the Hadrian's Arch,the statue of Great Alexander and the statue of Lord Byron.

Following your guide you enter the Plaka area heading to the Acropolis. You walk passing in front of the ancient Theater of Dionysus, the Odeon of Herodes Atticus, arrive at the top. Through the Propylaea, you get in the flat top with the Temple of Nike, and the Parthenon, monuments that remind us of the Glory of Ancient Athens and the Golden Age of Pericles.

Walking down from the back side of the hill you See the surrounding of the Greek Agora, the Hill of Democracy=the Pnyx, Mars hill and the Hill of Philoppapus opposite the Acropolis Hill, the Observatory etc.

The tour finishes here but since you are in the area, this is an opportunity to visit on your own the New Acropolis Museum.
