Classical & Meteora tour

A 5 day tour visiting the Corinth Canal, the world famous for its acoustics ancient theatre at Epidaurus, Nafplion (built when the city was ruled by the Venetians), Mycenae (the Lions Gate and the Tomb of Atreus), Olympia (the cradle of the Olympic games), Delphi (the navel of the Earth), and the Byzantine monasteries on the unique coblestone rocks of Meteora

Day 1: Drive to Corinth Canal (short stop). Proceed to Epidaurus
Visit the sanctuary of Asklepius and the famous theatre before arriving in Nafplion.
Afternoon free to explore Nafplion. Dinner & overnight.

Day 2: Morning free. Depart around 12:30 for Mycenae. Visit the site.
Optional lunch and proceed to Olympia, Arrive at +/- 19:00. Dinner & overnight.

Day 3: In the morning visit the Site with the Sanctuary of Olympian Zeus, the Ancient Stadium and the Archaeological Museum.
Continue to the bridge crossing the Corinthian Bay from Rion to Antirion.
Drive by Nafpaktos (Lepanto) and Itea to arrive in Delphi. Dinner & overnight.

Day 4: In the morning visit the Site and the Museum. Optional lunch follows.
15:00 Proceed to Kalambaka via Thermopylae(short photo stop) and Lamia.
19:30 Arrive in Kalambaka. Dinner & overnight.

Day 5:After breakfast depart for Meteora and visit 2 monasteries.
12:00 Return to Kalambaka for lunch (optional, not included in price).
14:00 Start the return to Athens. Arrival in Athens and hotel drop off by 20:00
