A travel agent knows the hotels and the pros and cons of each. A hotel that looks perfect may be totally inappropriate for you. And a hotel on a quiet island may be next to the island's only disco which stays open until dawn.
• Finally, the Greek Travel Agents by working with "hotel accommodation wholesallers" always quote you better prices from the prices you will get straight from the hotel itself. The best way is to check both; the price you are quoted from the hotel and the price the travel agent quotes to you for this same hotel. Remember also that the travel agent knows how to secure his booking while your booking can be rejected or refused from the hotel, especially if you haven't paid a deposit.
